What is this?
So the internet is a funny thing.
You start by missing it when it gets disconnected.
But you start to live LIFE when you don't have it.
Instead of keeping this social network when you sit
around and use it, but when you don't have it you stay
inside your own little comfort zone.
No worries about who's saying or doing what on Facebook,
No looking for cars you won't ever have,
Or doing some online shopping and forum
reading when your bored just waiting around till you are let
back into a gaming server.
No, you don't worry or think about those things.
Instead you ask yourself deeper questions that really make an
impact on you.
You think and contemplate about work.
Or you reminisce in the past about certain things.
You enjoy the scenery and how things were meant to be
Not digital photo's of beautiful beaches around the world
You live in the moment when your not sitting in front of this screen.
You take breath's of fresh air that's meant to be appreciated.
You use all your senses instead of using only three.
I love laying in bed just hearing my thoughts speak to me
about what things are supposed to be like.
I love reminiscing about certain moments with certain people.
I love the fact that you can just have peace and quiet instead of
looking at that stupid right hand corner of this screen to maybe see
"1 new notification"
Life is great and you shouldn't take it for granted.
Instead unfortunately I am sitting here and looking at this computer screen
I've changed my opinions on different things.
That's the difference though, You only have yourself to persuade.
You shouldn't let what other people say disrupt your train of thought.
But sometimes you just gotta escape life and loosen the grip
that's choking your neck.
